Welcome to my fashion communication portfolio!
During this course I was been able to showcase my diverse skill set in various areas of the fashion industry. Through my academic work, I have been able to analyse and understand trends and consumers, which has allowed me to produce work that effectively communicates with a wider audience. I have demonstrated my ability to source and negotiate with vendors, find creative solutions during challenging situations, and analyse trends and consumer behaviour. My project on art direction was an exploration of the various roles an art director plays in different areas of the fashion and entertainment industry. The brief was to gain an understanding of the concept of art direction and the unique challenges an art director faces in each field. Click the link to view the presentation.
During my brand building project, I was tasked with exploring a specific sector and understanding the market in order to establish a new brand within it. Through this project, I gained valuable skills in market research, consumer behavior analysis, and brand personality formation. I learned how to create a brand's visual personality, including the logo, typography, and brand shades, to effectively consolidate the brand. Click the link to view the presentation.
Through my SKIMS visual merchandising project, I gained valuable skills in store conceptualisation, floor planning, fixture placement, interior design, and merchandise display. The merchandise plan and display was a crucial aspect of the project, as it required me to carefully curate and present the SKIMS products in a way that would attract customers and drive sales.
